The son of the late Ogoni activist, prolific journalist, and former adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr., died on Tuesday .
He slipped into coma on Monday after suffering a stroke on Saturday.
He was placed on life support, but he died on Tuesday evening at an hospital in London.
He had been in and out of the hospital after suffering from a lung-related disease, our source said.
Wiwa, who served as presidential aide to three presidents, schooled at Stancliffe Hall School and Tonbridge School in England and then at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
He was editor of the UK Guardian’s New Media Lab, developing content for the newspaper’s online edition.
