Residents of Dortmund have been offering their spare beds to Monaco supporters after the Champions League match between the two clubs was postponed due to an explosion.
Dortmund defender Marc Bartra was taken to hospital for a hand injury after three explosions went off at the Dortmund team bus at just after 6pm on Tuesday.
A decision was taken at 7:30pm to postpone the match until Wednesday, when it will be replayed at 5:45pm UK time.
And with Monaco supporters facing an unexpected extra night in the German city, Dortmund helped to publicise a scheme to find them accommodation.
Monaco also alerted their fans to the scheme.
Lots of people responded, hoping to help out those who had travelled from the south of France.
What with Monaco supporters chanting “Dortmund” in the stadium, the supporters of the two clubs have rallied round superbly in response to the shocking developments of the night.
