Saturday’s AFCON 2017 qualifier between Nigeria and Tanzania will kick off at 5pm local time, officials have disclosed.
The dead rubber AFCON qualifier will be staged at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium nicknamed ‘The Nest of Champions’.
The Akwa Ibom State Government has thrown open the gates as a capacity crowd is expected for coach Gernot Rohr’s first match in charge of the Super Eagles.
The match will be beamed live on national television as well as pay TV.
Nigeria have two points from three matches, while Tanzania are on a point after Egypt won the three-team group with 10 points to qualify for next year’s AFCON in Gabon.
