Security operatives have arrested a journalist, Ahmed Salkida, who was declared wanted by the Nigerian Army in August.
Dubai-based Salkida was arrested on Monday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport after his flight landed in the country.
He had been declared wanted along with two other people – Aisha Waliki and Ahmed Bolori – in connection with alleged links to Boko Haram.
The journalist, who faulted the army’s decision to declare him wanted, had in a statement shortly after he was declared wanted explained that he would return to the country to respond to enquiries by the army.
He had, however, denied being a member of the sect.
