The correctional services department has confirmed that convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius has returned to prison after a short stay in hospital.

The department’s Logan Maistry says the reasons for Pistorius’ visit to hospital are confidential.
“The said inmate has been discharged from hospital and is currently back at the correctional facility where he is being held.”
