Super Eagles’ Manager has assured President Mohammed Buhari and Nigerian fans that the Super Eagles will have an outstanding outing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, stating that top notch preparations have already been mapped out.

Speaking live on Monday Night Football on SuperSport, the Eagles’ handler remarked that the national team players will not be mere spectators at the Russian Mundial.

He stated that the national team will surpass previous achievements without setting any personal target.

He said, “We have the chance to move out of the group to the round of 16. For the basics, I know that with good preparation and no injury to players, we will advance.”

“Now we have plans for good preparations. We have chosen our friendly matches. Our training camps and our base camps have already been decided.

“It is important to have a good scouting team.  We now have two or three more to help us for this work.
“We also have two other fitness coaches. Our staff should be ready, our organisation must be ready, no mistakes.

“The CHAN teams are traveling to Morocco tomorrow (tonight), so we have good observation of this team and we have three important games.

“With everybody we have a good monitoring of the players.
Only the English players are playing at the moment, others are starting now.

“For the friendly Eagles, will play Poland on March 23rd, and we will know the next on the 27th.”

The German tactician who also shared his thoughts about 2017 CAF award winners, said though Victor Moses was unfortunate but Asisat Oshoala became the pride of the nation.

He said, “I was a little bit disappointed for Victor Moses because ideally he ought to be a nominee (Top Three) but he was not nominated when people where voting in November, he was injured,

but, Oshoala brought honour to the country for winning the Africa women award. I was very happy for her. She is an example of female footballer and a beautiful girl like her can play good football.
