NewswatchNigeria can report that Prima Garnet Communications Limited and Ogilvy & Mather Africa have ended its long dispute out of court.
Inspite being in court on the matter for a while but the two communication outfits said it finally ended the feud amicable with mutual agreement without the court of law.
As gathered Lagos High Court endorsed the Settlement Agreement of the parties as Consent Judgment and effectively brings the matter to a closure.
Also, the settlement agreement on affiliation dispute followed the application to the High Court of Lagos State by Ogilvy & Mather Africa BV and was confirmed by Prima Garnet Communications Limited, to end the litigation of several years.
During the hearing of the matter on the 15th of December 2017 and following the application, the Honorable Justice L.A.F. Oluyemi of the High Court of Lagos State entered the Terms of Settlement dated the 14th of December, 2017, (which was duly executed by the parties and their respective counsel) as the Consent Judgment of the court to formally brings the matter to a closure.
A statement credited to the spokespersons for the parties reads; “have had mutually beneficial discussions and the outcome is an amicable resolution of the dispute and today’s Consent Judgment.
“This development allows both parties to put an end to the matter and enables Ogilvy & Mather to resume business in Nigeria as the parties continue to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian advertising landscape.”
