VALVERDE: WE FEAR UNITED SPIRIT

Manchester United might not have showed much in the first leg, but Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde is wary of the threat they could pose tonight.

“What I fear the most is the spirit they have. We respect them as a team, and the history they have behind them.

“You can feel their spirit on the pitch and I think we will see it tomorrow. If we want to face that we have to show the way we are ourselves.

“We must be on the ball. Every team will try to play their game based on the players they have, and we will try to play our game.”

UNBEATEN RUN

Manchester United need to win tonight, but Barcelona are unbeaten in 30 Champions League home games, the longest such run in the competition (W27 D3).

They’ve also not conceded more than once in any of those 30 games since a 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the 2012/13 semi-finals.

However, Barca have lost at this stage of the competition for the last three years in a row.
