Eclipse Range of Smart Devices from U.K display in Nigeria

A technology debut-E-commerce portal, Pumoh.com, which has the exclusive franchise on the brand in Africa yesterday officially, announced its entrant with the unveiling of three ranges of new devices.
The official unveiling which was held in Lagos was witnessed by the industry regulator, the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC), industry watchers, market analysts and the media (Information Communication Technology Editors and brand analysts.

According to Pumoh’s Managing Director, Barrister (Mrs.) Umoh Adingwupu, mobile technology with value-packed features will go along way to lead Nigeria to it smart connectivity dream land and would continue to add to the Nation’s Gross Domestic Product through the Information Communication Technology(ICT) Sector.
Represented by Mrs. Ijeoma Sabo, said she noted the new range of smart devices were set that would support the revolution of the mobile technology market as they parade value-packed features that will see users enjoying seamless experience from personal entertainment to business functionality.

She informed that the ranges of smart devices include two tablets, two smartphones, one feature phone, and one smart watch. “As we say in Eclipse Smarts, soon there will be two kinds of people; those who use computers & smartphones and those who use Eclipse,” she enthused.

Though there is strong competition with premium brands in the market but Adingwupu upbeat that the Eclipse will stand out with extra value for the user. The tablet range include the Eclipse Tab 7 and Eclipse Tab 9. Both runs on upgradable Android OS and the slates are handy, sleek, feather-weight and very easy to carry and handle. While the Tab 7 has a 7-inch high resolution touchscreen display, the Tab 9 has a 9.6-inch HD touchscreen with a whopping 120 hours of battery life, among other valuable features.

The smartphone range includes the Eclipse Ice 2 and Eclipse Dlite P5. For entertainment lovers, Barr. (Mrs.) Umoh Adingwupu said the Ice 2 is designed to make everything easy and beautiful. Director Technical Standard; NCC, Engr Fidelis Onah, who spoke about the influx of brand in the market and type approval regulatory policy for the sector said the “Eclipse products have gone through technical and regularity testing,” saying “They are NCC type approved devices.
