The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared a former governor of Katsina state, Ibrahim Shema wanted.
Shema, 59, hails from Dutsen-ma Local Government Area of Katsina and was the immediate past governor of the state.
According to EFCC, he is being wanted in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy, inflation of contract, abuse of office, diversion of funds and embezzlement in the region of billions of naira.
The anti-graft agency said the former governor ignored several invitations extended to him by the commission since December 2015.
Also, the commission said efforts to locate him at his residences in Katsina and Abuja were futile, calling on members of the public with useful information to contact the commiss
