FC Ifeanyi Ubah has won the 2016 Federation Cup after defeating Nasarawa United in the final.
The Anambra Warriors take the title from holders Akwa United who defeated Lobi stars in the 2015 showpiece.

The game which was played at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere ended goalless after 90 minutes and the game went to penalties. FCIU scored all five of their penalties but Nasarawa United saw spot kicks by Seun Sogbeso saved.

Earlier in the day, Rivers Angels won the women’s Federation Cup after defeating Bayelsea Queens.
Rivers Angels won 5-3 on penalties after 1-1 at the regulation time.
