I won’t concede against Argentina- Uzoho

Super Eagles first choice in goal Francis Uzoho has vowed to keep a clean sheet when the Eagles
confront Argentina in a winner takes all on Tuesday.

The Spain based shot stopper explained that what was very vital is for his team to beat
Argentina and he would do his best to ensure that victory is achieved.

“We have worked hard for this game and I hope to work hard on the pitch not to let in any goal during
the match. But it is the collective effort that is better. We shall all work very hard in tomorrow’s
match (today’s) to get the result we need to qualify for the next round of the competition”, Uzoho
disclosed.

Goalkeeping coach Aloy Agu also backed his goalkeeper to excel in goal against Argentina as he did against Iceland in the last match played at Volgograd on Friday.

“Uzoho is a player who wants to learn. He has been working very hard in training and he has been
improving with every match played.

” So I am confident he can repeat the good performance he put up against Iceland in tomorrow’s
cracker against Argentina “, the former Super Eagles goal tender said.
