NewswatchNigeria can report that the remains of Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, is expected to arrive in Nigeria today Monday.
As gathered from sources in close touch with the family plans were in top gear to ensure the she’s brought back to Nigeria ahead of the 8-day fidau prayer.
The source said: “Her remains will be flown in Monday hopefully. We have been making frantic efforts to get this done. “We are in constant touch with the family and from all indications, Moji will return home in less than 48 hours”.
The fidau prayer, which will hold on Thursday, is regarded by many Muslims as mandatory, and in line with Islamic rites. The prayer, mostly attended by family, relatives, friends, colleagues of a deceased, holds eight days after a person’s death.
Moji Olaiya, 42, who delivered a baby in Canada in March, died in a hospital last Thursday.
