Registration for this year’s Nigerian Entertainment Conference is underway, the convener has said.
Over 3,000 live participants are expected for this year’s conference based on data recorded from past editions
The conference will hold on April 24 at the Landmark Events Centre, Oniru, Victoria Island Lagos.
Themed: ‘Mobile, Data, Consumers and The Future Of Entertainment,’ #NECLive7 will examine how mobile tech and monetisation continues to affect consumers as well as creators; and what it all means for the future of entertainment in Nigeria.
“It has become clear that the Nigerian entertainment industry needs an event like NECLive,” said Ayeni Adekunle, founder and convener of the conference in a statement.

Interested participants, he said, are to register early for free on nec.ng while, interested exhibitors and sponsors should contact the Conference Coordinator by sending an email to info@nec.ng
According to Ayeni, speakers, panelists, moderators will exchange ideas in more exciting ways while discussing challenges and introducing a strengthened pathway for growth in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Nigerian comedian, Babatunde Adewale aka Tee A, will host the forum for the seventh time in a row.
The event will be graced by some of Nigeria’s sought after entertainment, media and creative industry aficionados who will share ideas, give insights and also lend their voices to issues bordering around Mobile data usage and the fate of Entertainment in Nigeria.
Organised annually since 2013, #NECLive has hosted over 100 celebrity guest stars and speakers, and has attracted over 20,000 live participants since its inception six years ago.
