NFF: We Can’t Do Anything about Lesbianism

imageslesbNigeria Football Federation is not concerned about the issue of lesbianism in the female football circles, according to NFF Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi.

Embattled Akinwunmi speaking at a forum in Lagos where Asisat Oshoala who plies her trade with the top English team Arsenal, was  honoured as the face of 2016 Women Federation Cup, stated that he had nothing to say on the issue of lesbianism when it was raised by one of the female players. “As for me, I have nothing to say on this issue and no more comment,”he said.

A member of female football family, Aisha Falode urged the players to be upright, develop a passion for the game, be dedicated and show commitment if they desire to grow and be famous in football.

“Your discipline has to be total. It is a team work. Keep your eyes on the ball and work very hard. Sooner or later you would come back to celebrate like Asisat. You have great footballers before you, just tap from their experiences so as to be able to achieve your goal,” Falode told the players.
