PHOTO NEWS: Flood Claims Lives, Render Many Abuja Residents Homeless

Residents of Suleja, a town near Abuja, experienced massive flooding that has reportedly claimed the lives of no less than 20 people.

The flood damaged some residential buildings and also destroyed pipes carrying water to the community.

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted extended rains this year, but the effect is what many cannot cope with.
