Jamie Redknapp has incurred the wrath of Twitter after his comments with regards Victor Moses during Chelsea’s clash with Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday.
The former Liverpool man was discussing the 25-year-old Nigeria international’s displays this season and claimed it was “Good to see young English talent getting a chance.”
Redknapp’s comment brings to mind infamous remarks from his father Harry, who wrote in his newspaper column for the Telegraph earlier this year that Leicester City’s Jamaica international Wes Morgan was “unlucky not to have got an England cap by now.”
Over to you Twitter…
Hi @skysports. I agree with Jamie Redknapp’s thoughts about Victor Moses.I also can’t believe that Diego Costa has never played for Scotland

Dear Jamie Redknapp, Victor Moses won the AFCON 2013 as a Nigerian player not an English lad

Jamie Redknapp is the Wayne Rooney of pundits – a once brilliant performer now out of his league shortly to be off loaded to a lesser rival

Had to laugh at Jamie Redknapp’s comments about Victor Moses. Clueless.
