Handheld technology is constantly evolving, and the latest generation of devices has just been unveiled. Billed as the most powerful Samsung device yet, fans of the Note family of smartphones will be intrigued by an array of innovative and intuitive new features in the next-generation release, the Galaxy Note8.
The official launch in New York introduced the largest screen ever seen on a Note device, with an expansive 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity display that can still fit comfortably in one hand, due to its sleek, curved profile. The signature, super-sized display provides a larger canvas to ‘see more and scroll less’ creating the ultimate multi-tasking device.
The question some are asking is: Will this replace the ‘work laptop’? With a multi-tasking ability, combined with DeX – which allows for users to run their phone or phablet through a monitor – it provides greater mobility. Added to this is the multi-pane capability that allows for two tasks to be carried out at once, aided by the infinity screen.
Its ability to translate documents also assists the globetrotting business professional.
