I can tell you that not less than 3000 Nigerians have been employed here because it high time issue of unemployment is addressed head-long. And the company is here to stay to further help government tame the scourge of unemployment through other investment drives, wealth and economic growth along its portfolio.
We have also discussed the possibilities of sourcing their raw materials here locally. Because we understand this is not only economically viable for the company but will also expand the frontier of business expansion with indigenous investors in the country. Nigeria and Ogun state is richly blessed not only with a human but also natural resources which we are showcasing to foreign allies to tap into.
Agbara is an area that sits league of multinational companies. We want them to adopt schools were our children will be exposed and trained, the roads in the area are bad and we will need about 23billion dollars to fix Atan to Agbara road. We told this company to foot 40% of the bill and the government will take 60%. With this partnership, we would be able to develop the road network infrastructure.”
