Managing Director Gionee Nigeria Ekechukwu Beneath who disclosed that the Original Equipment Manufacturer from Chinese has fared well in Nigeria while fielding questions from journalists at the official launch of X1s-smartphone went ahead to describe the nation’s economy as investors friendly inspite still recovering from the hardwood of recession.

“Gionee is a brand that has confidence in the Nigeria economy, We have been around for six years, and we have introduced different ranges of smartphones. I must say that we have now grown to the stage where we solidly have unwavering confidence and steadfast guarantee on the return on investment in the nation’s mobile market.

“When we started though we use to sell about 2,500 phones in 30 days and we saw our market share grows tremendously and find ourselves among the top class brands in the market.  Gionee thus calves a snitch for advanced technology accompanied with enhanced selfie + battery capabilities. This, I must say goes a long way to ensure profitability and confidence to reinvest.”

“For after-sales, I want to tell you that any smartphone brand where you usually have long queues of people waiting to repair their phones, kindly leave there. If not, soon, you will join in the queue. For Gionee, our phones are known for durability and because we know what we are offering the market, our warranty covers screen for even 15 months. We have partnered with Jumia (online) and Slot (offline) with other 60 outlets scattered across the country. We have technicians working with our dealers across the States of the Federation.”
