Wizkid is on an international wavelength at the moment as his ripples continues to spread on a global scale.
The Nigerian pop superstar fondly called Starboy has been recently honoured in Minnesota, United States. A special day was marked out by Governor Mark Dayton of Minnesota to honour Wizkid and his contribution to music. The Governor declared October 6 as WIZKID DAY.
This honour comes in following some of the artiste’s achievement as a pioneer. Some including working with Drake on ‘One Dance’, selling out the O2 Arena London and also becoming the first African artiste to sell out Skyway Theatre, Minneapolis.
See the letter of declaration and video below in the tweets.
