Black Friday: Shoppers Hail Yudala for Price Slash

YUDALA BLACK FRIDAY AT FESTAC INLAGOS

Shoppers at the ongoing Yudala 11/11-12/12 Mega Black Friday sale have commended the online and offline firm for slashing the prices of its products.

In interviews in Lagos, the shoppers also expressed satisfaction with the quality of the products offered for the Yudala Black Friday.

Black Friday is a western culture shopping season, where shops offer promotional or discounted sales on variety of goods.

Mrs Toyin Moroundiya, a lecturer at the Lagos State University, said that the shopping experience was a dream come true.

”In fact, I didn’t believe it at first when I heard about it. I just rushed over, and it is real.

“The television set I had in mind to buy was available, and it was actually half the price.

”This is awesome. I think everybody should take advantage of it. Yudala is real,” Moroundiya said.

An offline marketer, Mr Arinze Obi, said that he got a number of items at a reduced price.

”Honestly, I am so excited. I was planning to go to market to get some items, and my budget was about N300,000.

”At the end of the day, I spent a little over N150,000 and was able to buy virtually all I wanted,’’ he said.

Obi said that the Federal Government should encourage such firms.

“They are giving the community what they want at affordable prices,” Obi said.

A housewife resident in Festac Town, Mrs Philomena Mbah, said that she was delighted at the price slash.

”I wanted to buy a phone and decided to see what Yudala is doing; so, I drove here.

”I wanted to shop for an iPhone but ended up buying so many lovely items. I am very impressed.

”I wish they can keep on coming here and making people to smile,” Mbah said.

The Head, Corporate Communications, Yudala, Mr Gideon Ayogu, said that Yudala recorded a massive turnout at Sara Stadium in Festac Town and the Trade Fair Complex at Ojo, on Nov. 11.

“Yudala made it a weekend to remember for scores of enthusiastic shoppers, who took advantage of the amazing deals in its Mega Black Friday promotion tagged 11/11-12/12.’’

He said that the e-commerce firm was determined to ensure that the unreached and under-served members of the public got a chance to enjoy the deals.

According to him, Yudala was at both locations with truckloads of products including home appliances, mobile phones, lifestyle/consumer goods and power solutions.

”Next Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, it will be the turn of Agege and Ita Ilewa, Ikorodu, to enjoy.

”Plans have already been finalized for us to be at both locations with a mobile store, two 40-feet trucks and buses loaded with products and accompanied by dancers, music and digital entertainment,” he said.

Yudala 11/11-12/12 Mega Black Friday began on Saturday. It will end on Dec. 12 @ www.yudala.com and in Yudala store nationwide.
